Background

I am an artist and graphic designer based in Helsinki, Finland. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, which is part of the Uniarts Helsinki, as well as a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree in Media Studies from a University of Applied Sciences. I have worked extensively in the creative field as an artist, entrepreneur, and teacher. My special expertise is pattern design.

Approach

I often begin my work with hand-drawn sketches and paintings, which I then digitize and refine into the final visual expression. My images emphasize the rhythms of nature, abundant details, and organic, growing forms. My creative process is grounded in observing the natural world.

Goal

I rely on intuition, curious exploration, and bold experimentation, aiming for a beautiful and emotionally resonant visual language. My goal is to combine aesthetics and meaning in a way that stays in the viewer’s mind.

Values

In my work, observation, thinking, and making are intertwined. I value carefulness, openness, and presence. I believe that pausing to appreciate something good creates connections, sparks insights, and leaves lasting impressions. Positivity guides me both in my creative practice and in life.
